About these terms

These terms apply to your use of finzil.com (the "site"). By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

In these terms, "Finzil", "we" and "us" mean the operator of finzil.com.

What Finzil is

Finzil is a technology platform. It publishes information about banks, e-money institutions, payment institutions and other financial providers, and helps businesses compare and contact them.

Finzil is not a bank, payment institution or regulated financial services provider. We do not open accounts, process payments, hold money or assets, or give financial, legal or tax advice. Any account or service is provided by the provider you choose, under its own terms and after its own checks.

Information on the site

Provider information comes from each provider's website and other public sources and shows the date we last checked it. Providers change their prices, requirements and services without telling us, so details may be out of date. Always confirm them with the provider before you rely on them.

"Finzil's take" and similar comments are our opinion, not a statement of fact or a recommendation to use a provider.

Fit results and matches are indications based on published requirements and what you tell us. They are not a decision by any provider and do not guarantee that an application will be accepted.

Referral links and how we are paid

Some links to providers are referral links, and a provider may pay us when a visitor we referred becomes its customer. This does not change the price you pay, and it does not affect how providers are matched or ranked.

Using the site

You may use the site for your own business research. You must not:

• copy, scrape or republish a substantial part of the site without our written permission;
• use the site in a way that breaks the law, or to mislead a provider;
• interfere with the site's operation or security, or try to gain access to parts that are not public;
• give us information that is false or that you have no right to share.

Intellectual property

The site's design, text, data compilation and the Finzil name and logo belong to us or our licensors. Provider names and logos belong to their owners and are used for identification only; their use does not imply endorsement.

Other websites

The site links to provider websites and other third-party sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, services or terms.

Our responsibility to you

The site is provided "as is". We take care with the information we publish but do not promise that it is complete, accurate or current, or that the site will always be available.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of profit, business or opportunity, or for any indirect loss, arising from your use of the site or from a provider's decision, service or failure. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. It forms part of these terms.

Changes

We may change the site or these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting rights you may have under the law of the country where you live.
