Business profile
One business profile for every account application.
Every bank and payment provider asks the same things: who owns your company, what it sells and where its money moves. Answer once on Finzil. Your profile is checked against each provider's published requirements and reused each time you apply.

Why one profile
Every provider asks the same questions, on a different form.
Opening a business account means showing who owns the company, what it does and where its money comes from. Each provider asks again, in its own way.
You start from zero each time
The same ownership chart, the same description of your business and the same certified copies, typed and uploaded again for each application.
Documents go out of date
Many providers only accept a proof of address or a bank statement issued in the last three months. By the third application, part of your file is too old.
Small differences look like risk
Describe your business one way to one provider and slightly differently to the next, and a compliance officer may read the gap as a warning sign.
The refusal comes after the work
A refusal often comes from a rule the provider had from the start: an industry it does not take, or a country its owners cannot live in.
How it works
From one set of answers to every application.

Checked before you apply
Know who would say no, before you apply.
A complete file can still go to the wrong provider. Finzil reads the rules each provider publishes and compares them with your profile, so you see the reason behind every result.
What is compared
- Where the company is registered
- Where its owners and directors live
- Owner nationality
- Industry, including each provider's prohibited list
- Company type
- Currencies and payment rails you need
Example
UK limited company, e-commerce, one owner living in the United Arab Emirates.
UK e-money institutionLikely fit
Lists UK companies and e-commerce as accepted, and accepts non-residents.
Lithuanian e-money institutionNeeds review
Accepts UK companies. It does not publish where owners may live.
UK payment institutionLikely no
Owners must live in the UK or the European Economic Area.
Example results. A likely fit is not an approval; the provider makes every account decision.
What it holds
The answers every provider asks for, in one place.
A provider's compliance team reviews a complete, consistent file faster than one it has to chase. The profile is built in that shape.
Company
Legal name, company type, country and date of registration, registered and trading address.
Owners and directors
Who owns and controls the company, with each person's share, nationality and country of residence.
Business activity
What you sell, to whom and in which countries, in the industry terms providers use.
Money in and out
Expected monthly turnover, the currencies you need, and where payments come from and go to.
Source of funds
Where the company's money comes from, told once, with the documents that support it.
Documents
Certificate of incorporation, register extract, identity documents, proof of address. Each with its issue date.
Ownership
Owners entered once, with where they live.
Providers want to see who ultimately owns and controls the company. Enter each owner with their share and country of residence, and the chart is drawn for you.
Where owners live decides more applications than most founders expect. An owner or director who lives in a different country from where the company is registered makes it a non-resident business, and each provider has its own rule for that.

Example Trading Ltd

Founder60%Non-resident

United Arab Emirates
Holding company40%
Registered in
Cyprus
Second owner100%
Lives in
United Kingdom
One owner lives outside the United Kingdom, so providers that do not accept non-residents are marked before you apply.
The difference
What changes with a profile.
Without a profile
- The same answers typed again for every provider
- Documents sent after they have gone out of date
- Two providers given two slightly different descriptions
- A refusal weeks in, for a rule that was published all along
With a Finzil profile
- One set of answers, reused for each application
- A reminder before a document goes out of date
- The same description of your business everywhere
- Providers whose published rules rule you out, marked before you apply
Your information
You decide who sees it.
A business profile holds sensitive information about your company and the people behind it. It is shared one application at a time, by you.
Nothing is sent until you apply
Your profile stays with you. A provider receives it only when you choose to apply to that provider.
Only what the provider asks for
Each application takes the answers and documents that provider needs, not the whole file.
A record of what was sent
See which provider received which answers and documents, and when.

Who it is checked against
Compared with the published requirements of 100+ providers.
Each provider profile on Finzil lists the countries, owners, industries and company types the provider accepts, with its fees and the documents it asks for.
FAQ
Questions before you start.
Who can see my profile?
Only the providers you choose to apply to, and only when you apply. Finzil has no public directory of businesses.
Does the profile replace the provider's own checks?
No. Every provider runs its own checks and makes its own decision. A complete, consistent profile gives its compliance team what it needs the first time.
Does a likely fit mean I will be approved?
No. It means nothing in the provider's published requirements rules your business out. The provider decides after its own review.
Which providers is my profile checked against?
100+ banks and payment providers. More are added over time.
What does it cost?
Creating a profile is free.
What if my company changes?
Update the profile once. Each change is saved as a new version, so the next application uses the current answers.
Definition
What is KYB?
KYB stands for "know your business". It is the check a bank or payment provider runs on a company before opening an account: that the company exists, who owns and controls it, what it sells and where its money comes from. KYC, "know your customer", is the same check on a person.
Each provider runs its own KYB and asks for the answers on its own forms, which is why applying to three providers means answering three times. A business profile keeps those answers and documents in one place, so they are the same every time.
One Finzil profile
Start your next application from your profile, not from zero.
Tell Finzil about your business once. See which providers fit and why, then use the same answers each time you apply.
