Overview

Triple-A, at a glance.

Triple-A is a major payment institution headquartered in Singapore, regulated by MAS, ACPR, Autorité des marchés financiers and 2 other regulators and registered with FinCEN and FINTRAC as a money services business. The company behind Triple-A is TRIPLE A TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. Pricing is agreed with each client. Opening an account takes 3–14 business days. Non-residents are accepted: owners and directors do not need to live in the country where the company is registered.

Triple-A is not a bank. Under the Singapore company, customer money is safeguarded under the Payment Services Act in a designated trust account with a safeguarding institution, pooled with other customers' money; the institution is not named and the money is not deposit-insured. Money received for merchant acquisition for customers outside Singapore, and cross-border transfers not received in Singapore, are exempt from safeguarding.

  • EUR is the only currency with account details; USD and SGD collections are planned
  • The terms allow an agreed monthly minimum in fees, with any shortfall taken from your balance
  • Verification takes 3 to 14 business days after all documents are received
  • Companies in Belarus, the Central African Republic, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan and the Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine are refused
  • Weapons, multi-level marketing, shell companies and nominee structures are refused; gambling, adult, CBD and financial services need enhanced due diligence

FAQ

Your questions, answered.

Is Triple-A a bank?

No. Triple A Technologies Pte. Ltd. is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore as a major payment institution (PS20200525). In France, Paytop SAS, trading as Triple-A, is a payment institution authorised by the ACPR (16408) and a crypto-asset service provider licensed by the AMF (A2026-015). In the US, Triple A Technologies Inc. is registered with FinCEN and holds state money transmitter licences (NMLS 2514255). In Canada, the Singapore company is registered with FINTRAC (C10001348) and the Bank of Canada.

Which Triple-A company holds my EUR IBAN?

Triple-A does not publish which company issues the named EUR IBAN or the IBAN's country code. Its general terms are with Triple-A Technologies Pte. Ltd. in Singapore and its affiliates, under Singapore law. Ask Triple-A before you open the account.

How much does Triple-A cost?

Triple-A publishes no prices. Fees are agreed at onboarding and depend on volume, settlement, currencies and risk; they can include a percentage transaction fee and a currency conversion spread. The terms allow an agreed monthly minimum in fees, with any shortfall taken from the account balance.

Who can open a Triple-A Multicurrency Account?

Businesses that collect euros and pay out worldwide, including companies based in Asia or Latin America with no EU entity. Opening is through the sales team, and the sign-up form asks whether the business can commit to at least $100,000 a month in volume. Companies in Belarus, the Central African Republic, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan and the Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine are refused.

What happened in the July 2026 wallet incident?

On 25 July 2026 Triple-A found unauthorised access to wallets holding its own digital assets, and some services were in maintenance for about three hours. Triple-A says client funds were not affected: it does not hold digital assets for clients, and client money is kept in trust accounts with safeguarding institutions. It is investigating with the Singapore Police Force. Source: triple-a.io/newsroom/official-statement-regarding-recent-wallet-activity.

Can I fix an exchange rate for a future payment?

Triple-A publishes no forward contracts or other hedging tools. Conversions happen inside collections and payouts.

Does Triple-A accept gambling businesses?

With approval. Gambling is a restricted industry for a business selling directly, which means extra documents, an in-depth review and stricter monitoring. A payment provider or marketplace serving gambling businesses is refused.
