For your business

Banking with an app built on Zenus? Check who holds the dollars.

Fintechs and platforms use Zenus for US dollar accounts and cards. Three things to check:

  • Whose account it is

A virtual account gives you account numbers, but the funds sit in the platform's master account at Zenus. Read the terms for who owes you the money.

  • Not FDIC-insured

Zenus is a Puerto Rico International Financial Entity, not an FDIC member. It holds client balances in full as cash, but there is no federal deposit insurance.

  • Keep a second account

Two apps on the same partner can fail together. A second account issued by a different institution keeps salaries and suppliers paid.
